PORTRAIT LAB EXHIBITION “MY HAND”
PORTRAIT LAB, the first exhibition by textile designer Yumi Yoshimoto, who resides in Yamanashi Prefecture, will be held at Gallery FUJIHIMURO in Fujiyoshida City.
PORTRAIT LAB takes everyday motifs and reinterprets them from the perspective of a textile designer, transforming them into fabric-based SOFT FURNITURE. The exhibition will feature a gallery space where SOFT FURNITURE can be appreciated like sculptures, as well as a living room-like space where you can relax surrounded by textiles produced in Fujiyoshida City. Enjoy this new expression of textiles that will bring a chemical reaction to your daily life and living space!
"Little Hand Workshop" event during Hatafes
For two days only at Hatafes, designer Yoshimoto will be hosting a special workshop! Fill a transparent hand-shaped bag with colorful cotton and fabric scraps to create your very own "MY HAND".
