Arayayama Shrine

As one of Japan's three major shrines for attracting wealth, this power spot is extremely popular for boosting financial luck.

Founded in 1534, Araya-yama Shrine sits on a small hill surrounded by primeval forest near a water source and woods. For centuries, it has been revered as a guardian deity of the mountains and a god of industry, worshipped by local forestry and agriculture workers, as well as carpenters and other craftsmen. In recent years, it has become known as one of Japan's leading power spots for financial luck, attracting many visitors from all over the country. The main shrine, nestled in a quiet forest, exudes a solemn atmosphere, welcoming worshippers. Instructions for praying for increased financial luck are provided, so be sure to follow them. After visiting the main shrine, head to the inner shrine at the second station of Mount Fuji. The secluded inner shrine is surrounded by the clear, crisp air characteristic of Mount Fuji, creating a solemn and serene atmosphere. You can receive a Goshuin (shrine stamp) at both the main shrine and the inner shrine, which are also very popular with visitors.

*The inner shrine is closed during the winter.
